Líneas de investigación

El grupo TECF3IR está especializado en el análisis nuclear sistemas de instalaciones con altos campos de radiación. Actualmente las líneas de trabajo del grupo son:

Líneas prioritarias

  • Desarrollo de metodología innovadora para modelización y simulación computacional del transporte de neutrones y de cualquier otro tipo de radiación presente en instalaciones nucleares y radiactivas.
  • Análisis nucleares para evaluación y optimización del diseño de instalaciones relevante para el desarrollo la energía de fusión nuclear por confinamiento inercial y magnético: ITER, DEMO.
  • Protección radiológica en aceleradores de alta intensidad tipo IFMIF-DONES.
Líneas en consideración

  • Sistemas transmutadores de residuos radiactivos guiados por acelerador.
  • Otras aplicaciones médicas e industriales de los procesos nucleares y la radiación: sistemas avanzados de fisión, radioterapia.
